Dr. Kerman is a board certified ophthalmologist who received his ophthalmology training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute of UCLA. He completed university fellowships in retinal disease and ophthalmic ultrasound at UCLA, Columbia University and the University of Iowa.
Dr. Barry Kerman graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in 1970. Dr. Kerman is licensed to practice medicine in the state of California. Dr. Kerman completed a residency in Ophthalmology at University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA from 1971 to 1975.
Specializing in the field of Ophthalmology, Dr. Kerman is prepared to diagnose, treat and perform various types of surgeries for diseases, injuries, or trauma of the eye. Dr. Kerman may treat disorders such as glaucoma, corneal tumors, cataracts, retinal disorders, conjunctivitis, astigmatism and ocular tumors, among others.
